In 2026, Hillock English Medium School celebrated something it had been building towards since the day it opened: its very first Standard 7 graduation — the first class to complete primary school at Hillock.
Hillock opened its doors in 2021 with ten pupils in Kisiwani. Today 155 students and 15 teachers learn here, from nursery to Grade 7. Seeing the first class finish primary education is a milestone for the pupils, for their families and for the whole community.
Families, teachers and the community gathered to celebrate the graduates, certificates in hand. It was a day of pride — and a reminder of why Pamoja Afrika starts with education.
They are the first graduates of Hillock. The first of many.
