Launched in 2018, Pamoja Afrika’s Stingless Beekeeping Project is an inspiring initiative designed to empower women in Sungo Village by producing organic honey and related products for income and health 🌿.

Despite early challenges, the project continues to grow — strengthening both community participation and economic independence.

🌼 Project Goals:

• 🍯 Produce organic honey known for its medicinal properties

• 📦 Package and sell honey locally when harvests are good

• 👩🏿‍🌾 Expand to individual families each year to increase production and income

• 💪 Ensure all group members and local women benefit from the initiative

• 🧴 Create value-added products like honey soap, lotion, and medicinal remedies using stingless bee honey and wax

• 🔬 Collaborate on research by blending stingless bee products with local medicinal plants from our natural health program

Pamoja Afrika provides training and support to help local women care for the hives and turn their knowledge into sustainable livelihoods
